Paper describing the operation of the underwater electric generator constructed in the center of a dam near Ellicott City, Maryland. The generator was originally constructed for the Patapsco Electric and Manufacturing Company but was later sold to the Baltimore Electric and Power Company. Includes photographs. This paper was prepared as part of Laswell's initiation into Phi Mu, an engineering honor society.
